Challenge

Create a line of polarized fishing eyewear for Huk Performance Fishing. Including product, glasses case, retainer leash, packaging, and catalog. The polarized eyewear needed to be functional for anglers targeting the mid-tier of the market with a few higher-tier styles.

Product:
Within the mid-tier product line, I worked with a product developer to modify OEM glasses to better fit our needs so we had a group of performance fishing styles and a group of lifestyle eyewear. I specified logo badging, selected colors, materials and finishes for frames and polarized lenses. I generated tech packs for the factor 

For our top-tier sunglasses, I specified logo badging, selected colors, materials and finishes for frames and polarized lenses. I also designed a vertical opening case that has straps to attach to a pole of a fishing boat for convenient storage. Huk wanted the glasses case to be able to attach to the pole of a boat, so I designed a top-opening case with adjustable straps.
